Asimismo, se estudian procesos competitivos de activaci\u00f3n de enlaces c-h y c-f, utilizando para ello cetonas arom\u00e1ticas no fluoradas, perfluoradas y parcialmente fluoradas, y se llevan a cabo reacciones catal\u00edticas de acoplamiento carbono-ox\u00edgeno de aldeh\u00eddos (reacci\u00f3n de tishchenko). Los productos resultantes son derivados trihidruro de osmio iv que se pueden transformar en complejos dihidr\u00f3geno elongado. En este tipo de especies, un \u00e1tomo de hidr\u00f3geno interacciona de forma electrost\u00e1tica con el ligando l en posici\u00f3n cis. los derivados dihidr\u00f3geno elongado reaccionan con alquinos terminales para dar complejos con enlaces osmio-carbono de orden 1, 2 y 3. Bajo determinadas condiciones, los fragmentos org\u00e1nicos se pueden acoplar generando especies con estructuras inusuales, destacando la formaci\u00f3n del primer isometalobenceno con estructura de
