La presencia de glucagon adrenalina o analogos del camp estimula la maduracion mitocondrial actuando sobre la fosforilacion oxidativa. Dichos agentes producen un acumulo intramitocondrial de nucleotidos de adenina mediado, probablemente, por un aumento de calcio citosolico. Tal aumento de nucleotidos induce la maduracion de la mitocondria. Dicha maduracion se impide por efecto de la insulina, que inhibe la translocasa de nucleotidos produciendo un aumento en la permeabilidad pasiva a protones de la membrana interna mitocondrial. La presencia de glucosa en alta concentracion en el medio de aislamiento de los hepatocitos, incapacita tambien a la mitocondria para alcanzar la adecuada funcionalidad.  el proceso de la maduracion mitocondrial parece estar mediado por un aumento de iones calcio tras la accion hormonal, los cuales estimulan el transporte de nucleotidos a la mitocondria.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
