Se han empleado dos tipos de soportes arcillosos: montmorillonita y sepiolita, utilizando la fraccion menor de 2u. La sepiolita se sometio a tratamiento acido, para analizar las modificaciones que en sus propiedades adsorbentes producia la activacion acida. Se determino la capacidad de cambio, la superficie especifica de los dos soportes asi como su naturaleza por analisis quimico elemental. Los farmacos empleados han sido: salicilato de fenilo, acido p-aminobenzoico, cinamato de metilo, cinamato de etilo y metilsulfato de n-metil-8-hidroxiquinolina, este ultimo sintetizado por el metodo de faller y philips, al no encontrarse comercializado. La preparacion de los sistemas de adsorcion se realiza por tres metodos: fusion, molienda y adsorcion desde disoluciones acuosas, solo para los farmacos solubles en agua. La caracterizacion de los soportes, de los farmacos y de los sistemas farmaco-arcilla resultantes de la interaccion de ambos componentes se realizo por difraccion de rayos x, analisis termico diferencial y termogravimetrico, espectroscopia infrarroja y v-uv y desorcion en medio salino.
