Comenzando con sistemas sencillos, se estudia el efecto del desorden en este tipo de estructuras tanto a nivel morfol\u00f3gico como en sus propiedades fot\u00f3nicas. A continuaci\u00f3n se comprueba la existencia de un gap fot\u00f3nico completo en \u00f3palos inversos con alto contraste de \u00edndice de refracci\u00f3n, para lo que se realizan medidas de reflexi\u00f3n a lo largo de las direcciones de alta simetr\u00eda en \u00f3palos inversos de silicio. Para demostrar el efecto de la topolog\u00eda del material infiltrado se recurre a \u00f3palos compuestos e inversos de inp y gap tanto en l\u00e1mina delgada como en sedimentos opalinos, donde se lleva a cabo un estudio del crecimiento del material en el interior de los poros de la matriz  y se propone un modelo te\u00f3rico que explica razonadamente el comportamiento fot\u00f3nico que presentan estos materiales. Por \u00faltimo, se hace una primera obtenci\u00f3n de un dispositivo real, fabricando heteroestructuras complejas formadas por el apilamiento de diferentes \u00f3palos e infiltradas con s\u00edlice mediante un m\u00e9todo cvd novedoso. De entre todas las estructuras que se presentan cabe destacar la obtenci\u00f3n de defectos de plano embebidos en \u00f3palos y el estudio exaustivo de la posici\u00f3n de la resonancia debida a la
