En \u00e9l se generar\u00e1n colisiones prot\u00f3n-prot\u00f3n en las que se alcanzar\u00e1 una energ\u00eda centro de masas de 14 tev y tendr\u00e1 capacidad de operar a una luminosidad nominal de hasta 1034cm 2s-1.  el colisionador lhc contar\u00e1 con cuatro experimentos independientes . El detector en el que se encuentra el presente trabajo de tesis es el cms (compact muon solenoid),que est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado con prop\u00f3sito general. Entre las nuevas part\u00edculas predichas por le modelo estandar est\u00e1 el bos\u00f3n de higgs, que es especialmente relevante por toda la nueva f\u00edsica que lleva asociada.  el detector cms comporta multitud de subdetectores agrupados en el interior y exterior del im\u00e1n solenoidal superconductor. Los distintos subdetectores que lo constituyen tienen una funci\u00f3n de detecci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica ya sea para conocer la energ\u00eda (calor\u00edmetros)como para detectar las trayectorias de part\u00edculas cargadas de las cuales se puede conocer su momento por estar inmersas dentro del campo magn\u00e9tico del solenoide (tracker y c\u00e1maras de muones).  para conseguir una buena resoluci\u00f3n en el momento de los muones (que son signaturas para los canales de desintegraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s relevantes en la desintegraci\u00f3n del bos\u00f3n del higgs)se requiere un alto campo magn\u00e9tico.El solenoide de cms alcanzar\u00e1 4 t. Sin embargo para lograr mantener la alta resoluci\u00f3n sobre toda la trayectoria de los muones (que atraviesa radialmente todo el experimento cms),es fundamental que sea trayectoria sea reconstruida con una alta precisi\u00f3n desde el detector central de trazas (tracker), localizado en la zona m\u00e1s interna de cms, hasta el sistema de c\u00e1maras de muones, sito en la parte m\u00e1s externa de cms. Y ello, en definitiva, requiere un buen conocimiento de la posici\u00f3n relativa entre ambos subsistemas (alineamiento entre ambos),que es a lo que se dedica el sistema de alineamiento
