El objetivo de la tesis es presentar y evaluar t\u00e9cnicas que empleen el soa para la compensaci\u00f3n de los efectos de la dispersi\u00f3n crom\u00e1tica y la no linealidad de la fibra \u00f3ptica. Para ello, se han desarrollado modelos te\u00f3ricos de las diferentes aplicaciones a partir de las ecuaciones b\u00e1sicas que gobiernan el soa y, en los casos en que las limitaciones del laboratorio lo permit\u00eda, se han demostrado y evaluado experimentalmente. La tesis esta estructurada en seis cap\u00edtulos que pueden dividirse en dos partes. En la primera parte introductoria, el cap\u00edtulo 1 presenta los sistemas radio-fibra y describe los componentes del enlace anal\u00f3gico por fibra \u00f3ptica. La problem\u00e1tica de la transmisi\u00f3n anal\u00f3gica por fibras \u00f3pticas se presenta en el cap\u00edtulo 2, haciendo especial hincapi\u00e9 en los efectos de supresi\u00f3n de portadora y de intermodulaci\u00f3n, debidos a la dispersi\u00f3n crom\u00e1tica y a la no linealidad. finalmente, el estado del arte y el modelo b\u00e1sico del soa se comentan en el cap\u00edtulo 3. La segunda parte de la tesis presenta las aplicaciones del soa para la compensaci\u00f3n de los efectos de supresi\u00f3n de portadora y de distorsi\u00f3n de intermodulaci\u00f3n. En el cap\u00edtulo 4 se analiza la generaci\u00f3n de chirp mediante un soa preamplificador previo al enlace de fibra. La mezcla de frecuencias para implementar  conversores a frecuencias milim\u00e9tricas empleando el soa, se estudia en el cap\u00edtulo 5. Por \u00faltimo, el cap\u00edtulo 6 presenta la generaci\u00f3n de ondas conjugadas mediante soas y las propiedades de compensaci\u00f3n de los conjugadores
