No ocurre as\u00ed en el caso de materiales compuestos, donde el refuerzo est\u00e1 constitu\u00eddo por fibras cortas. En este caso,  durante el proceso de conformado se producen dos fen\u00f3menos f\u00edsicos \u00edntimamente acoplados, por una parte, la orientaci\u00f3n de las fibras depende de la cinem\u00e1tica del flujo; y por otra, la cinem\u00e1tica del flujo se ve afectada por la orientaci\u00f3n de las fibras.  en este sentido, el objetivo de la presente tesis es obtener un modelo de flujo capaz de simular el proceso de inyecci\u00f3n de un termopl\u00e1stico reforzado con fibras cortas en moldes tridimensionales y determinar la orientaci\u00f3n de las fibras en la pieza realizada. Para la  obtenci\u00f3n del modelo de flujo se propone una estrategia expl\u00edcita de taylor-galerkin discontinuo. La utilizaci\u00f3n de una t\u00e9cnica expl\u00edcita permite desacoplar el car\u00e1cter el\u00edptico de las ecuaciones del movimiento, que definen un problema de stokes anis\u00f3tropo, del car\u00e1cter hiperb\u00f3lico que exhiben las ecuaciones que rigen la evoluci\u00f3n de la fracci\u00f3n volum\u00e9trica del fluido y de la orientaci\u00f3n de las fibras presentes en la suspensi\u00f3n. La  presencia de las fibras se introduce a trav\u00e9s de una t\u00e9cnica de homogeneizaci\u00f3n espacial y una posterior promediaci\u00f3n estad\u00edstica.  definido el modelo de flujo, se ha aplicado el m\u00e9todo de elementos finitos (volume of fluid (vof)) para la gesti\u00f3n del frente de avance y una t\u00e9cnica de pseudocomportamiento para la gesti\u00f3n de la parte vac\u00eda del molde; dise\u00f1ando un programa de simulaci\u00f3n con t\u00e9cnicas de  dise\u00f1o orientado a objetos, con el que se ha verificado la viabilidad del m\u00e9todo para la predicci\u00f3n de la
