As\u00ed, se ha descrito como la introducci\u00f3n de \u00f3xidos de  fosfina, tanto en la cadena de resina epoxi como en el agemte de curado, les confiere buenas propiedades retardantes a la llama ya que act\u00faan a trav\u00e9s de un mecanismo de intumescencia, formando una capa aislante que constituye una barrera fisica y t\u00e9nnica a la combusti\u00f3n. Los objetivos de este trabajo son la  s\u00edntesis y el entrecruzamiento de nuevas resinas epoxi fosforadas, y el estudio de sus propiedades mec\u00e1nicas, t\u00e9nnicas y de retardancia a la llama.  una v\u00eda de obtenci\u00f3n de resinas epoxi fosforadas fue la s\u00edntesis de prepol\u00edmeros derivados de \u00f3xido de isobutil bis(hidroxiprop\u00ed\u00bc) fosfina (ihpo) y diglicidil \u00e9ter de bisfenol a (dgeba) o de ihpo y 1,6-hexildiglicidil\u00e9ter (hedge), sin embargo en este caso a medida que reaccionaban se produc\u00eda la  homopolimerizaci\u00f3n del prepol\u00edmero en formaci\u00f3n. Tambi\u00e9n, se intent\u00f3 la reacci\u00f3n del fosfonato de dietil-n,n-bis(2-hidroxietil)aminometilo (fyrol 6) con dgeba o epiclorohidrina (epc), pero no se obtuvo el producto deseado en ninguno de los casos.  una v\u00eda alternativa es la s\u00edntesis de diglicidilos fosforados por 10que se hizo reaccionar ihpo con epc en medio b\u00e1sico y en pres\u00e9ncia de un catalizador de transferencia de fase. Este nuevo diglicidilo, ihpogly, experimenta reacciones de isomerizaci\u00f3n y descomposici\u00f3n a temperaturas elevadas, 10 que hace necesario el uso de un catalizador que rebaje la temperatura de la reacci\u00f3n de homopolimerizaci\u00f3n.  otra forma de introducir el f\u00f3sforo en las resinas epoxi es curando mon\u00f3meros diglicidilicos con agentes de curado fosforados.
