Se ha estudiado el efecto de los sustituyentes de un centro estereog\u00e9nico en ? Al nitr\u00f3geno sobre la estereoselectividad de las reacciones de ?-Amidoalquilaci\u00f3n intramolecular, variando el tipo de \u00e1cido empleado en la generaci\u00f3n del ion n-aciliminio intermedio.  por otra parte, se ha investigado la estereoselectividad de la reacci\u00f3n de adici\u00f3n conjugada de reactivos organomet\u00e1licos sobre la unidad de lactama ?,?-Insaturada de tetrahidrobenzo[a]quinolicidonas. Se han efectuado adiciones conjugadas de organocupratos, as\u00ed como de nucle\u00f3filos estabilizados por azufre, tales como sales de litio de derivados ditioacet\u00e1licos, o estabilizados por conjugaci\u00f3n ?, Como la sal s\u00f3dica de malonato de dimetilo. As\u00ed, se ha comprobado que estas reacciones de adici\u00f3n conjugada resultan, en general, altamente diastereoselectivas, lo que ha permitido preparar diversas hexahidrobenzoquinolicidonas
