En el caso cl\u00e1sico se sabe que la transitividad de la relaci\u00f3n de preferencia extendida asociada a una estructura de preferencia se puede caracterizar por las transitividades de la relaci\u00f3n de preferencia estricta y la relaci\u00f3n de indiferencia. Hemos introducido una definici\u00f3n de transitividad que generaliza la que habitualmente se emplea en la literatura y hemos buscado los tipos m\u00e1s fuertes de transitividad que se pueden asegurar para las relaciones de preferencia estricta e indiferencia suponiendo que la relaci\u00f3n de preferencia extendida satisface distintos tipos de transitividad. Adem\u00e1s hemos probado que nuestros resultados proporcionan realmente los tipos m\u00e1s fuertes de transitividad posible. Puesto que la influencia de la hip\u00f3tesis de completitud est\u00e1 clara ya en el caso cl\u00e1sico, tambi\u00e9n hemos estudiado la influencia de esta propiedad en la descomposici\u00f3n de la transitividad en ambiente difuso. Hemos estudiado las implicaciones m\u00e1s fuertes posibles tanto en ausencia de completitud como bajo completitud d\u00e9bil.  por otra parte, hemos demostrado que la transitividad de la relaci\u00f3n de preferencia extendida no se deduce ni siquiera de los tipos m\u00e1s fuertes de transitividad que se pueden suponer para las relaciones de preferencia estricta e indiferencia, de modo
