Jes\u00fas <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El interesante mundo de las cofrad\u00edas y sus m\u00faltiples \u00e1mbitos de repercusi\u00f3n  hacen que haya alcanzado gran predicamento entre historiadores de la religiosidad popular y de las mentalidades. Despu\u00e9s de su estudio se perciben varios campos de investigaci\u00f3n, destacando el protagonismo de estas asociaciones en la conmemoraci\u00f3n de la semana santa, s\u00edmbolo indispensable de las cofrad\u00edas disciplinantes, y las diversas actividades ben\u00e9ficas  y caritativas, propias de las hermandades asistenciales.  valdemoro ocupa un lugar privilegiado en el mapa f\u00edsico de la regi\u00f3n madrile\u00f1a:  ubicado en el camino real de la corte hacia aranjuez, pronto se convirti\u00f3 en punto propicio de paso y descanso para los monarcas en sus desplazamientos hacia el real sitio, situaci\u00f3n que favorec\u00eda, en cierto modo, a los vecinos. esa coyuntura modificaba el ritmo cotidiano y posibilitaba el intercambio de pensamientos e ideas, fraguando, poco a poco, las mentalidades colectivas. el tejido socioecon\u00f3mico no era muy distinto al de una localidad rural de la zona: un n\u00famero medio de labradores adinerados, una escasa representaci\u00f3n de  la hidalgu\u00eda sin t\u00edtulo, peque\u00f1os comerciantes y el resto repartido entre aparceros, cl\u00e9rigos, viudas y desocupados. La posici\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica, unido a una sociedad jerarquizada con una fuerte presencia eclesi\u00e1stica y-circunstancias econ\u00f3micas cambiantes, favoreci\u00f3 la implantaci\u00f3n y desarrollo del movimiento cofrade. En la tesis se ha analizado la evoluci\u00f3n de la religiosidad laica y de la sociabilidad en valdemoro, a fin de rastrear el comportamiento  gen\u00e9rico en el \u00e1rea sur de Madrid.
