(1623-1684)fue uno de los entremesistas m\u00e1s fecundos de la \u00e9poca de calder\u00f3n.La mayor parte de sus obras permanec\u00eda in\u00e9dita o se encontraba dispersa en art\u00edculos y antolog\u00edas , apenas hab\u00eda datos sobre la vida del dramaturgo y el corpus teatral que se le atribu\u00eda conten\u00eda numerosos errores.En esta tesis doctoral se re\u00fanen las notas biogr\u00e1ficas que aprotaban diversos estudiosos, como cotarelo o la barrera, y ase contrastan con los nuevos datos que arroja la investigaci\u00f3n sobre las distintas facetas de la personalidad del autor: su actividad como censor de comedias da cuenta de su relaci\u00f3n con otros dramaturgos coet\u00e1neos (moreto, matos,diamante, quir\u00f3s , calder\u00f3n , etc.)Con alguno de los cuales , adem\u00e1s firm\u00f3 varias comedias colaboradas; su producci\u00f3n po\u00e9tica muestra sus relaciones con la aristocracia y el poder.  el estudio del teatro breve de avellaneda, una vez establecido el corpus de atribuci\u00f3n segura, tiene en cuenta diferentes aspectos; g\u00e9neros , temas y personajes , lenguaje y estilo, elementos de la representaci\u00f3n y m\u00e9trica.Por otro lado, se han analizado las diferentes entre las obras que se escribieron para los festejos de palacio y las  que se escribieron para ser representadas en las fiestas p\u00fablicas o en los corrales de comedias.  se editan tres loas, doce entremeses , tres mojigangas, siete bailes, tres j\u00e1caras y cuatro obras de atribuci\u00f3n dudosa.La edici\u00f3n tiene en cuenta todos los testimonios hallados e incluye un registro de variantes y un \u00edndice de notas; cada una de las piezas se abre con una protadilla en la que se incluye datos sobre las circunstancias de su representaci\u00f3n,
