En los estudios de uni\u00f3n del radioligando [35s]datp?S a dichas fracciones de membrana se ha comprobado que existe una alta densidad de sitios de uni\u00f3n espec\u00edfica de alta afinidad en la fracci\u00f3n basolateral de la membrana plasm\u00e1tica. El an\u00e1lisis de los resultados obtenidos sugiere que gran parte de esa uni\u00f3n espec\u00edfica se corresponder\u00eda con un receptor p2y probablemente del subtipo p2y11 y\/o
