Los textos seleccionados proceden de diversas revistas de corte publicitario y gr\u00e1fico, porque ellas fueron las que recogieron los avances, inquietudes y el d\u00eda a d\u00eda de los grafistas espa\u00f1oles. Durante las primeras d\u00e9cadas del siglo, esa innovaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica proven\u00eda de la mano de artistas e intelectuales de conocida relevancia como; utrillo, dal\u00ed, gasch, montany\u00ed\u00a0, gim\u00e9nez caballero, gaya, renau, ..Quienes abanderaron la lucha por el reconocimiento social del arte comercial, el anuncio y la propaganda, como el arte del futuro.  a partir de los a\u00f1os cuarenta, la teor\u00eda y cr\u00edtica sobre el medio gr\u00e1fico ser\u00e1 difundida por las revistas profesionales. C\u00edtase la importante labor de revistas publicitarias como arte comercial y graf\u00eda hispana, durante las dos primeras d\u00e9cadas de la posguerra, y las revistas estafeta de publicidad, ip. Informaci\u00f3n de publicidad y marketing, y publicidad durante la d\u00e9cada sesenta. Entre las aportaciones m\u00e1s rese\u00f1ables, destaca la atenci\u00f3n que luis gil fillol realiza a trav\u00e9s de las p\u00e1ginas de la revista arte comercial. durante los a\u00f1os en los que se edit\u00f3 la mencionada revista madrile\u00f1a, el cr\u00edtico mantuvo una actitud comprometida con la nueva disciplina. Entre sus inquietudes destaca su inter\u00e9s porque el arte comercial espa\u00f1ol se equiparara a su hom\u00f3nima europea, porque el estado se ocupara por su ense\u00f1anza, por la uni\u00f3n profesional, por la creaci\u00f3n de centros y bibliotecas especializadas, ..Deseos que comenzar\u00edan a ser realidad dos d\u00e9cadas m\u00e1s tardes.  a finales de los sesenta resurge un grafismo espa\u00f1ol que se apoya en las primeras asociaciones profesionales.
