En ella se hace un estudio sistem\u00e1tico de part\u00edculas tanto regulares como irregulares y de las propiedades de scatterring de conjunto que exhiben al considerar una distribuci\u00f3n de tama\u00f1os y de formas. Se han considerado dos composiciones para las part\u00edculas, una de hielo sucio y silicato con inclusiones de carbono, y otra de carbono silicato.  existe un cierto consenso dentro de la comunidad astrof\u00edsica para establecer que el grano cometario tiene una estructura porosa, formando agregados de un cierto n\u00famero de mon\u00f3meros. Sin embargo, los experimentos de laboratorio han mostrado que las part\u00edculas minerales compactas con composici\u00f3n an\u00e1loga a la de las part\u00edculas cometarias exhiben propiedades similares, por lo que la irregularidad y compacidad han sido dos de los par\u00e1metros fundamentales en el estudio.  los resultados han permitido llegar a determinadas conclusiones relacionadas con la taxonom\u00eda cometaria, la interpretaci\u00f3n de algunos de los elementos de la matriz de scattering y las tendencias que ocurren al modificar alguno de los par\u00e1metos que intervienen en el proceso de scattering. Ha sido posible reproducir las medidas de dispersi\u00f3n tanto con part\u00edculas compactas como porosas, por lo que no es posible favorecer ninguna de esas dos
