Por una lado se ha determinado que gs1b es la enzima que est\u00e1 involucrada en la (re)asimilaci\u00f3n del nitr\u00f3geno contenido en las prote\u00ednas de reserva de la semilla y en estadios planturales, su localizaci\u00f3n vascular indica un papel de esta enzima en la bios\u00edntesis de glutamina para el transporte a otras partes de la pl\u00e1ntula. La expresi\u00f3n de gs1a asociada al par\u00e9nquima clorof\u00edlico, sugiere su implicaci\u00f3n en el aporte de compuestos nitrogenados para la funci\u00f3n fotosint\u00e9tica. Se han analizado las estructuras de los promotores de ambos genes gs1 de pino, abord\u00e1ndose su estudio con la utilizaci\u00f3n de distintas aproximaciones, tales como expresi\u00f3n transitoria en sistema hom\u00f3logo y heter\u00f3logo, as\u00ed como los ensayos de retraso en gel.  respecto a gs1a: se ha determinado que su regi\u00f3n distal promotora presenta una secuencia at1 y at2 de uni\u00f3n para factores nucleares, estas cajas at son esenciales para la actividad promotora y podr\u00edan funcionar en coordinaci\u00f3n positiva con el elemento poli-ct presente en la regi\u00f3n l\u00edder. Se ha propuesto la funcionalidad de estos elementos at en al activaci\u00f3n transcripcional de gs1a mediada por luz. Se ha puesto de manifiesto tambi\u00e9n la existencia de elementos negativos que afectan a la expresi\u00f3n del gen localizados en la zona central de su estructura promotora.  respecto a gs1b: utilizando el procedimiento de an\u00e1lisis de la expresi\u00f3n transitoria en protoplastos de pino tratados hormonalmente, se ha podido delimitar una regi\u00f3n implicada en la regulaci\u00f3n gs1b por giberelinas, la cual puede enmarcarse en el contexto del papel de esta hormona en el desarrollo del embri\u00f3n,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
