representaci\u00f3n: aproximaci\u00f3n a una teor\u00eda cr\u00edtica del teatro  se realiza primero una delimitaci\u00f3n del campo te\u00f3rico a estudiar, fundamentando epistemol\u00f3gica y metodol\u00f3gicamente  el objeto de estudio.  se lleva a cabo una definici\u00f3n del teatro, de sus rasgos distintivos y componentes esenciales, tanto con relaci\u00f3n a otras artes como desde el punto de vista textual y literario.  por \u00faltimo se definen los elementos b\u00e1sicos para el an\u00e1lisis de la obra dram\u00e1tica, entendida como la uni\u00f3n entre texto y representaci\u00f3n.  se trata de demostrar que el teatro es un objeto de estudio que puede ser abordado desde un punto de vista global, objetivo y cient\u00edfico, superando los enfoques parciales,
