El objetivo central es estimar modelos desagregados de demanda a partir de las elecciones del modo de viaje que hacen los individuos.  con este proposito se plantean modelos de eleccion discreta acordes con la teoria del consumidor, que permiten obtener los valores subjetivos del tiempo para cada segmento de la poblacion, modo de transporte y componente del tiempo. Asimismo, se realizan predicciones de demanda y se calculan las elasticidades precio y tiempo de cada modo de viaje.
