La hidr\u00f3lisis selectiva de uno de los carbonatos permite acceder a precursores monocarbonatados que pueden ser utilizados en la s\u00edntesis de nuevos an\u00e1logos de la vitamina d. Los resultados obtenidos se recogen en la siguiente publicaci\u00f3n:  \u00abregioselective enzymatic syntheses of c-3 and c-5 carbonate a-ring stereoisomeric precursors of vitamin d\u00bb. D. Gotor, tetrahedron: asymmetry 2004, 15,2881-2887.  el segundo cap\u00edtulo describe la s\u00edntesis de cuatro nuevos precursores del anillo a que poseen un grupo amino en la posici\u00f3n c-3 y\/o c-5, y han sido preparados a partir de la (s)-(+)-carvona, o de la (r)-(-)-carvona. Parte de los resultados obtenidos han sido publicados en:  \u00abefficiente synthesis of novel 1alfa-amino and 3beta-amino analogues of 1alfa,25-dihydroxyvitamin d3\u00bb. D. Oves, m. Ferrero, s. Chem. 2003,68,1154-1157.  en el tercer cap\u00edtulo se realiz\u00f3 el acoplamiento de los derivados amino del anillo a sintetizados en el cap\u00edtulo 2 con el fragmento anillos cd-cadena lateral. Los derivados amino de la 1alfa,25-dihidroxivitamina d3 as\u00ed obtenidos fueron evaluados biol\u00f3gicamente en t\u00e9rminos de su afinidad por el vdr, capacidad antiproliferativa y
