En \u00e9l se destaca la divisi\u00f3n de su extensa producci\u00f3n po\u00e9tica en tres etapas y espacios: el \u00abespacio po\u00e9tico\u00bb, el \u00abespacio del mundo\u00bb y el \u00abespacio del ser\u00bb.  se ensaya una metodolog\u00eda novedosa de an\u00e1lisis literario, a partir de la distinci\u00f3n entre una \u00abcorriente comunicativa\u00bb y una \u00abcorriente objetiva\u00bb, que gimferrer va alternando en su producci\u00f3n, sin una distinci\u00f3n precisa entre sus sucesivas etapas. La primera corriente plantea la reflexi\u00f3n de la poes\u00eda como algo previo al poema, que se centra en su exposici\u00f3n; la segunda corriente hace del poema mismo el acto de reflexi\u00f3n sobre la poes\u00eda.  en los dos casos, pero sobre todo en el segundo, la poes\u00eda de gimferrer se erige como plenamente representativa de la est\u00e9tica mov\u00edsima y, en su marco, en estrecha vinculaci\u00f3n con la renovaci\u00f3n moderna de la poes\u00eda espa\u00f1ola en las \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas del siglo xx, conectando con la herencia de las vanguardias y las corrientes
