europa germ\u00e1nica una corriente cultural el expresionismo- , que abarcar\u00eda pr\u00e1cticamente la totalidad de las formas art\u00edsticas.  coincidiendo con el desarrollo y divulgaci\u00f3n de un arte nacido pocos a\u00f1os antes, el cine, la implantaci\u00f3n del expresionismo en este campo durante la segunda d\u00e9cada del siglo xx le dotar\u00eda de unas caracteristicas y de una personalidad que dar\u00eda lugar a importantaes consecuencias art\u00edsticas.  con objeto de mostrar las raices de las que se nutrio el expresionismo cinematogr\u00e1fico , la primera parte de este trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 dedicada a presentar las g\u00e9nesis y desarrollo de esta manifestaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica difusa e inconcreta , que muchos autores denominan como una sensibilidad que se conoce bajo el t\u00e9rmino de \u00abexpresionismo\u00bb.Esta parte que podriamos considerar como introductoria viene a ser el soporte del objetivo final de la presente t\u00e9sis, que es el de analizar las caracter\u00edsticas expresionistas contenidad en el material cinematografico que tratamos.  el paso siguiente es el an\u00e1lisis de lo que significa la aparici\u00f3n del cine como fen\u00f3meno cultural y art\u00edstico , analizando su evoluci\u00f3n hasta el momento en el que se ve influido por el movimiento expresionista; punto esencial para centrar este tema lo constituye el examen de la est\u00e9tica creada y desarrollada pro el cine, as\u00ed como la interrelaci\u00f3n cine\/expresionismo.  la \u00faltima parte de la investigaci\u00f3n se ocupa del an\u00e1lisis que sigue un orden cronol\u00f3gico-, de catorce pel\u00edculas que consideramos como las m\u00e1s representativas del cine expresionista y de su evoluci\u00f3n.Como colofon se hace un
