Interesa especialmente la funci\u00f3n informativa-propagend\u00edstica de ese discurso, que reforzaba al del resto de los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n durante los a\u00f1os de consolidadci\u00f3n del nuevo estado y en un contexto de f\u00e9rrea censura informativa.  se ha empleado una metodolog\u00eda de an\u00e1lisis de contenidos audiovisules que profundiza para entender cu\u00e1les fueron los mecanismos utilizados en esa representaci\u00f3n de la vida pol\u00edtica y sus protagonistas. Por su parte, la fuente principal de investigaci\u00f3n utilizada ha sido el propio noticiario cinematogr\u00e1fico: todas las noticias pol\u00edticas proyectadas durante el periodo mencionado.  las conclusiones alcanzadas son claras. En primer lugar, el noticiario elabor\u00f3 un relato informativo-propagand\u00edstico para promover la aceptaci\u00f3n social del r\u00e9gimen autoritario en su primera etapa. Para ello utiliz\u00f3 una serie de recursos narrativos constantes.Traslad\u00f3 a la gran pantalla el discurso oficial sobre su legitimaci\u00f3n, primero por raz\u00f3n de su origen y , a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde , debido a su ejercicio sus logros. Construy\u00f3 el arquetipo audiovisual del caudillo carism\u00e1tico, que ayudaba al afianzamiento de franco en su poder. Poyect\u00f3 una imagen positiva de espa\u00f1a, ajustada no tanto a la situaci\u00f3n real de la misma sino al ideal de su renacimiento que hab\u00edan prometido los vencedores de la guerra civil. Ese punto de vista domin\u00f3 la visi\u00f3n de la pol\u00edtica y las instituciones importantes: el ej\u00e9rcicito, la organizaci\u00f3n sindical , el movimiento , la realidada socioecon\u00f3mica , etc.  adem\u00e1s, el noticiario transmiti\u00f3 la memoria dominante &#8211; oficial- sobre los acontecimientos recientes, concretamente la guerra civil.
