Dicha teor\u00eda se aplica a una selecci\u00f3n de seis pel\u00edculas de carretera estadounidenses de los a\u00f1os noventa: thelma and louise de ridley scott, true romance de tony scott, flirting with disaster de david russell, love field de johnathan kaplan, the living end de gregg araki, y finalmente, the straight story de david lynch. Esta selecci\u00f3n se agrup\u00f3 en \u00e1reas tem\u00e1ticas seg\u00fan los aspectos socioculturales que se analizaron en ellas: el g\u00e9nero, la raza, la identidad sexual y la edad, con la
