Su correcto diagn\u00f3stico tiene gran importancia para garantizar procedimientos terap\u00e9uticos o decisi\u00f3n cl\u00ednica adecuados. La espectroscopia por resonancia magn\u00e9tica nuclear in vivo es una herramienta para el diagn\u00f3stico no invasivo con gran potencial frente a la sospecha de lesi\u00f3n intracerebral. se puede adquirir en la misma exploraci\u00f3n que las im\u00e1genes por resonancia magn\u00e9tica con un peque\u00f1o aumento del tiempo. La espectroscop\u00eda de alta resoluci\u00f3n ha sido muy utilizada en los an\u00e1lisis de extractos de metabolitos y biopsias tumorales o de fluidos corporales para una mejor resoluci\u00f3n y separaci\u00f3n de los componentes moleculares de la muestra. Esta tesis trata del an\u00e1lisis in vivo e in vitro de patrones espectrales de tumores cerebrales humanos y tamib\u00e9n de lesiones c\u00edsticas asociadas a esos tumores. El an\u00e1lisis de espectros in vivo ha empleado la metodolog\u00eda de reconocimiento de patrones espectrales.  en el estudio de lesiones c\u00edsticas, hemos desarrollado un clasificador autom\u00e1tico basado en patrones espectrales in vivo para distinguir entre lesiones malignas, benignas y abscesos. Los l\u00edquidos c\u00edsticos han sido estudiados qu\u00edmicamente. Se han detectado \u00e1cido si\u00e1lico y hexur\u00f3nico, muchas veces presentes en elementos macromoleculares de matriz extracelular. Se han realizado extracciones de metabolitos solubes en \u00e1cidos percl\u00f3rico (pca) para observar el patr\u00f3n espectral.
