De aqu\u00ed su inter\u00e9s sobre todo en los estudios de los procesos erosivos. Este inter\u00e9s ha llevado a la b\u00fasqueda de relaciones entre esa energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica y alg\u00fan par\u00e1metro de la lluvia relacionado con ella. Las ecuaciones tradicionales relacionan la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica y la intensidad. Se plantea como objetivo general la contribuci\u00f3n al conocimiento de la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica de la lluvia , y como objetivos particulares se persiguieron dos: 1) evaluar la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica de la lluvia a partir de la intensidad , pero con informaci\u00f3n registrada en nuestras latitudes . 2) evaluar la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica de la lluvia en funci\u00f3n de alg\u00fan par\u00e1metro m\u00e1s facil de obtener que la intensidad.  * el primer objetivo planteado, se logra al obtener una expresi\u00f3n a partir de los datos de precipitaci\u00f3n registrados en nuestras latitudes. La relaci\u00f3n ec=f(i) obtenida es:  ec=65-e -9.8679*10-5*i2-4.987*10-3*i+4.1779(r2=0.987)ec (j\/m2 y min);i(mm\/h)  presenta las siguientes ventajas: 1)no presenta limitacions en el rango de aplicaci\u00f3n. 2)proporciona estimas de ec con unos errores relativos muy peque\u00f1os. 3) compempla el hecho de mantenimiento de la energ\u00eda cin\u00e9tica m\u00e1xima para intensidades elevadas.  * el segundo objetivo se logra al obtener una ecuaci\u00f3n combinada de tipo potencial:  ec24h:  &#8212; 17882(1-3.5(-1.8392*10-6*p24h2-8.322*10-4*p24h))(r2=0.997)p24h  mayor -140mm ec 24h(j\/m2 y d\u00eda)  &#8212; 17882(1-3.5(3.279*10-6*p24h2-6.2967*10-4*p24h))(r2=0.994)1 menor p24h menor &#8211; 140mm.  este modelo presenta las siguientes particularidades: 1)rango de aplicaciones muy amplio. 2) l\u00edmite superior e inferior de ec24h. 3)presenta coeficientes de correlaci\u00f3n altos. 4)ha sido validada con el an\u00e1lisis de bandas de pluvi\u00f3grafo. 5)obtien de forma
