Elena <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En la tesis se desarrolla un conjunto de herramientas para el dise\u00f1o de programas paralelos de tiempo real.  dentro de una metodolog\u00eda de prototipo rapido, estas herramientas permiten realizar analiticamente la validacion y la caracterizacion de respuesta temporal de los programas antes de ser implementados. Los programas paralelos se modelan mediante una extension de las redes de petri probabilisticas denominada red de petri extendida (epn). El modelo epn permite representar con diferentes niveles de detalle los programas paralelos como conjuntos de procesos que interaccionan entre si y con el entorno a traves de diferentes mecanismos de sincronizacion. A partir de este modelo, se puede realizar la evaluacion estatica y dinamica del programa paralelo en cualquier plataforma monoprocesadora o multiprocesadora y bajo distintas politicas de planificacion de los procesos.
