En la segunda se presentan los resultados del seguimiento y ensayos realizados en el vertedero de meruelo (cantabria) entre 1989 y 1993. Se trata de un conjunto amplio de medidas de muy diversos tipos, que se recopilan en un tomo de anejos la tercera parte concentra las aportaciones teoricas y cientificas proponiendo nuevos modelos y formulaciones para tratar aspectos practicos de la explotacion y aprovechamiento de vertederos de residuos solidos urbanos, principalmente en lo que se refiere a produccion de asientos, resistencia frente a cargas superficiales y estabilidad, amen de proponer metodolog\u00edas de analisis para la estimacion de parametros representativos. En resumen, se realizan aportaciones para la evaluacion geotecnica de estos materiales, considerando sus especiales caracteristicas, apoyandose en bases y datos de la ingenieria sanitaria, y trazando
