Dichas interacciones se traducen en procesos de precipitaci\u00f3n y de incorporaci\u00f3n de superficie que modifican la composici\u00f3n de la fase acuosa y en consecuencia afectan al transporte efectivo en el medio. Este hecho, influye de manera determinante en la aplicaci\u00f3n de modelos de transporte a numerosos problemas geol\u00f3gicos, como el dep\u00f3sito de minerales de mena, fen\u00f3menos de diag\u00e9nesis o la migraci\u00f3n de residuos t\u00f3xicos y nucleares.  los carbonatos son uno de los grupos minerales m\u00e1s ampliamente distribuidos en la corteza terrestre, estando presentes en un gran porcentaje de rocas sedimentarias, sedimentos marinos, etc.  los carbonatos, adem\u00e1s se encuentran presentes durante todo, o buena parte del recorrido de las aguas naturales a trav\u00e9s de la superficie terrestre, con lo que el estudio de las interacciones carbonato disoluci\u00f3n acuosa es de vital importancia.  la presente tesis doctoral presenta los resultados de un estudio exhaustivo del proceso de interacci\u00f3n de disoluciones acuosas ricas en cadmio con carbonatos de calcio de diferente composici\u00f3n mineral\u00f3gica (aragonito y calcita) y distinto origen (biog\u00e9nico y abiogenico).
