Ademas, se ha pasado revista al resto de tecnicas conocidas comprobandose su comportamiento cuando se utilizan para el procesado de imagenes de corta exposicion. Se ha comprobado que aunque son aplicables ninguna de ellas evita el agujero por cuenta de fotones que aparece cuando se emplean intensidicadores de imagen. Este problema si puede resolverse mediante el analisis estadistico del numero total de cuentas en la imagen.
