<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta tesis se estudia la metodolog\u00eda num\u00e9rica de clasificaci\u00f3n de comunidades de plantas.Los datos estudiados son inventarios de pastos montados y sobalpinos, as\u00ed como formaciones de matorrales, maquinas y bosques mediterr\u00e1neos.En primer bloque de cap\u00edtulos se aborda la estructura y composici\u00f3n de las comunidades de estudio.Concretamente se estudian:la diversidad de las comunidades y la suficiencia de muestreo, la metodolog\u00eda  de c\u00e1culo de la fidelidad de las especies en bases de datos, y los problemas de discriminabilidad num\u00e9rica entre sintaxones.Un segundo bloque de aportaciones se ocupa de estudiar la metodolog\u00eda de clasificaci\u00f3n propiamente dicha:se revisan y comparan los m\u00e9todos estad\u00edsticos que an\u00e1lisis de grupos de vegetaci\u00f3n (algoritmos, jer\u00e1rquicos aglomerativos, twinspan, algoritmos partitivos),se estudia el efecto que tiene el modo de medir las distancias o proximidades entre inventarios en el an\u00e1lisis de grupos, se propone un nuevo de clasificaci\u00f3n para el an\u00e1lisis de grupos de vegetaci\u00f3n basado en el algoritmo possibilistic c-means, y se estudian estrategias de ponderaci\u00f3n de variables (especies).El bloque que cap\u00edtulos final esta dedicado a aplicaciones inform\u00e1ticas desarrolladas.Entre ellas, se describe el programa quercus, un editor de datos de vegetaci\u00f3n , y ginkgo, un programa de an\u00e1lisis multivariante basado en distintas.Finalmente se presenta un sistema basado en el conocimiento llamado aracucaria ,que tiene como objetivo la determinaci\u00f3n autom\u00e1tica de invetarios de vegetaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
