Usamos, adem\u00e1s, sistemas de referencia fermi ya que, al ser sistemas localmente inerciales (en el sentido de la tgr), se pueden formular todos los procesos en t\u00e9rminos de cantidades directamente medibles.  los problemas astrom\u00e9tricos que se abordan son: la descripci\u00f3n local de la deflexi\u00f3n gravitatoria de la luz, las aberraciones astron\u00f3mica y planetaria, y la paralaje (considerada como una transformaci\u00f3n entre sistemas de referencia fermi).  los problemas de geodesia espacial tratados son los asociados a las t\u00e9cnicas de lunar laser ranging (llr), satellite laser ranging (slr), satellite-to-satellite tracking (sst) y altimetr\u00eda, as\u00ed como a la relaci\u00f3n entre las frecuencias de emisi\u00f3n y recepci\u00f3n de se\u00f1ales electromagn\u00e9ticas entre sat\u00e9lites y receptores en tierra (que se utiliza en navegaci\u00f3n gps).  por \u00faltimo, se formula el problema bal\u00edstico como el problema inverso del
