Pretende dar una visi\u00f3n de conjunto sobre su pensamiento y su relaci\u00f3n con la filosof\u00eda oriental y sobretodo con las obras que tradujo.  el inter\u00e9s de la tesis se centra en la actitud vital de mascar\u00f3 hacia la espiritualidad y el yoga como herramienta para acceder a la aprehensi\u00f3n de la verdad espiritual. La taxonomia que utiliza mascar\u00f3 en sus obras se basa en las palabras: luz, amor y vida y la tesis pretende demostrar tambi\u00e9n su equiValencia con los t\u00e9rminos j\u00f1ana, bhakti y karma yogas.  en la tesis se tratan adem\u00e1s, desde la perspectiva de mascar\u00f3, temas como el budismo, la unidad del fen\u00f3meno religioso, la educaci\u00f3n, concepto de karma, de dharma y
