Yolanda <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Plasmadium falciparun es el agente causante de la forma m\u00e1s grave de malaria en humanos.A pesar de la cantidad de informaci\u00f3n que pasemos acerca del par\u00e1sito y el vector que la produce, esta enfermedad causa por a\u00f1o entre 300 y 600 millones  de enfermos nuevos y entre 1 y 3 millones de muertes.Por esta raz\u00f3n son cada vez m\u00e1s necesarias los estudios dirigidas o comprender las bases moleculares que soportan la compleja biolog\u00eda del parasito.  en el presente trabajo se ha desarrollado una t\u00e9cnica de pce cuantitativo en tiempo real implementando el uso de sondas tallo-bucle (molecular beacons)para la detecci\u00f3n y cuantificaci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n del arnm en p.Falciporum.Por medio de esta metodolog\u00eda se han determinado los perfiles de transcripci\u00f3n de los genes de la cascada anti-oxidante del parasito para evaluar su funci\u00f3n dentro del ciclo intraeritroc\u00edtoc.As\u00ed mismo se ha estudiado el efecto de la transcripci\u00f3n de estos genes con el fin de conocer las diferencias existentes en la regulaci\u00f3n genica de la cascada antioxidante entre una estirpe p.Falciporum resistente al f\u00e1rmaco y una sensible.Los resultados indican que las estirpes regulan su ambiente reductor de manera distinta , lo que sugiere que el
