Para ello, integramos num\u00e9ricamente el hamiltoniano k.P tridimensional en aproximaci\u00f3n de funci\u00f3n envolvente. Los electrones de conducci\u00f3n se describen con un hamiltoniano de una banda, considerando la dependencia de su masa efectiva respecto de la posici\u00f3n y la energ\u00eda. Los huecos se describen con un hamiltoniano de cuatro bandas que considera el acoplamiento entre subbandas de huecos pesados y huecos ligeros. El uso de potenciales confinantes espaciales finitos permite una descripci\u00f3n realista de los efectos en los l\u00edmites de las nanoheteroestructuras. Los efectos de diversos potenciales sobre el espectro de estas estructuras, como el de campos magn\u00e9ticos externos y fuerzas de tensi\u00f3n el\u00e1stica, son estudiados con detalle. Entre los principales resultados de esta tesis se incluyen.  1. El descubrimiento de nuevos fen\u00f3menos derivados de la aplicaci\u00f3n de campos magn\u00e9ticos sobre puntos cu\u00e1nticos esf\u00e9ricos multicapa.  2. La presentaci\u00f3n de un dispositivo modelo que permite el control de las propiedades magn\u00e9ticas de puntos cu\u00e1nticos semiconductores iii-v dopados con iones magn\u00e9ticos a trav\u00e9s del voltaje.  3. Un estudio exhaustivo de la estructura energ\u00e9tica de anillos cu\u00e1nticos autoordenados, que ofrece la primera interpretaci\u00f3n completa y consistente de numerosos experimentos de
