Asuncion <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Mediante metodos polarograficos, se han determinado las caracteristicas de la reduccion, sobre electrodos de mercurio, de la anti-5-nitro-2-furaldoxima (farmaco radiosensibilizante) y de un derivado del 5-nitrofurano sintetizado en el departamento de quimica organica de la universidad de santiago (con actividad antibacteriana).  en funcion de las mismas, se han establecido los aspectos fundamentales de los mecanismos de las reacciones electrodicas implicadas, asi como las condiciones experimentales que permiten aislar la primera etapa de transferencia de carga al grupo nitro.
