Sin embargo, a concentraciones de 800 a 1200 nm se produjo un efecto impredecible de despolarizaci\u00f3n y\/o hiperpolarizaci\u00f3n. Estos efectos fueron bloqueados con tetrodoxina o cnqx+apv junto con bicuculina. Las respuestas excitatorias o inhibitorias evocadas a trav\u00e9s del \u00e1cido glut\u00e1mico o el \u00e1cido gamma-amino-but\u00edlico disminuyeron en amplitud despu\u00e9s de la perfusi\u00f3n del p\u00e9ptido. Adem\u00e1s, los resultados obtenidos mediante el protocolo de doble pulso  apoyaron la acci\u00f3n presin\u00e1ptica del p\u00e9ptido beta-amiloide. Para determinar qu\u00e9 tipo de receptores o canales est\u00e1n implicados en el mecanismo de acci\u00f3n presin\u00e1ptico, fueron usados un bloqueante espec\u00edfico de receptores alfa-7 nicot\u00ednicos (citrato de metilcaconitina) o bloqueantes de canales de calcio de tipo-l (calcicludina y nifedipina).  el p\u00e9ptido beta-amiloide (25-35) disminuy\u00f3 la amplitud de los potenciales excitatorios postsin\u00e1pticos en condiciones control, y tambi\u00e9n en las rodajas permanentemente perfundidas  con citrato de metilcaconitina. Sin embargo, este efecto fue bloqueado en las rodajas perfundidas con calcicludina o nifedipina, lo cual suger\u00eda la implicaci\u00f3n de los canales de calcio de tipo-l. En resumen, estos experimentos proporcionan evidencias de que el p\u00e9ptido beta-amiloide afecta la neurotransmisi\u00f3n en el complejo basolateral amigdalino y su acci\u00f3n se lleva a cabo a
