Se realiza una clasificaci\u00f3n de las diferentes ideas y se llevan a cabo algunos experimentos generales para su comprobaci\u00f3n. A continuaci\u00f3n , se profundiza en algunas t\u00e9cnicas de aplicaci\u00f3n universal tales como la segmentaci\u00f3n (pipelining)o, la inhabilitaci\u00f3n de bloques. Estos conocimientos son aplicados posteriormente para reducir el consumo en m\u00e1quinas de estado y en diferentes bloques aritm\u00e9ticos. Para las primeras, se estudian diferentes m\u00e9todos de codificaci\u00f3n y partici\u00f3n para diversos circuitos de prueba y n\u00famero de estados. En lo referente a bloques aritm\u00e9ticos, los experimentos abarcan las operaciones de suma, multiplicaci\u00f3n , multiplicaci\u00f3n modular y divisi\u00f3n, teniendo en cuenta diferentes ideas algor\u00edtmicas y estrategicas de implementaci\u00f3n.  las conclusiones expuestas en esta tesis se sustentan sobre un exhaustivo trabajo experimental . Se han construido y medido m\u00e1s de 600 circuitos en diversos modelos de fpgas xilinx que en conjunto abarcan m\u00e1s de una d\u00e9cada de esta tecnolog\u00eda. Los resultados finales se resumen en una serie de recomendaciones y reglas de reducci\u00f3n de consumo de utilidad a nivel de dise\u00f1ador.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
