Las neuronas son clasificadas por el tipo de estimulaci\u00f3n fisiol\u00f3gica perif\u00e9rica capaz de provocar su respuesta , con sus respectivos subtiposo funcionales tanto a diferencites magnitudes de estimulaci\u00f3n mec\u00e1nica como a su combinaci\u00f3n con estimulaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica perif\u00e9rica (aumentos y reducciones de tempmeratura en su campo receptor), encontrando que las neuronas sensoriales trg cuyas fibras forman las ramas v1 y v2 presentan cinco subtipos funcionales de neuronas: con respuesta a est\u00edmulos mec\u00e1nicos de bajo umbral (ltm) y reducciones de temperatura superficial: ltm cut\u00e1nea (de adaptaci\u00f3n lenta (sa) y de adaptaci\u00f3n r\u00e1pida (ra), ltmpelo, ltmvibrida, ltm\/fr\u00edo : tres subtipos neuronales con respuesta a est\u00edmulos mec\u00e1nicos de alto umbral (htm) e incrementos de la temperatura superficial; htm45mn, htmda\u00f1o, htm\/calor (polimodal)y neuronas cuya terminal se encuentra en la c\u00f3rnea. Por otra parte,se correlacionan su modalidad y propiedades el\u00e9ctricas som\u00e1ticas con la velocidad de conducci\u00f3n (cv) de sus fibras dentro de sus respectivos rangos a y
