Albicans, ha permitido comprobar que la prote\u00edna ecm33p est\u00e1 implicada adem\u00e1s de en la formaci\u00f3n de la pared celular, en otros procesos biol\u00f3gicos importantes del hongo como morfog\u00e9nesis y transici\u00f3n dim\u00f3rfica.As\u00ed, el mutante ecm33 de c.Albicans fue incapaz de filamentar en medios s\u00f3lidos como el spider y sladh que generalmente inducen filamentaci\u00f3n e invas\u00f3n del agar.Estos mutantes se mostraron adem\u00e1s totalmente avirulentos en distintos modelos  murinos in vivo de candidiasis (sist\u00e9mica y mucocut\u00e1nea)llevados a cabo en este estudio.Mediante estudios in vitro se pudo comprobar una menor adherencia de los mutantes ecm33 de c.Albicans a l\u00edneas celulares humanas tanto endoteliales como epiteliales.As\u00ed mismo, la inoculaci\u00f3n del mutante homocig\u00f3tico ecm33\/ecm33 (rml2u) de c.Albicans a ratones balb\/c fue capaz de inducir en los mismos una respuesta inmune protectora frente a la candidiasis sist\u00e9mica producida por la cepa parental virulenta de c.Albicans sc5314,dotando al mutante rml2u de capacidad vacunal.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
