un estudio del impacto del fen\u00f3meno enso tanto en la troposfera como en la atm\u00f3sfera media, y consiste de dos partes: en la primera se describe la se\u00f1al del enso en el tr\u00f3pico a partir de observaciones satelitales de temperatura por microondas; en la segunda, se estudia la propagaci\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al enso fuera del tr\u00f3pico ,a las latitudes medias de la troposfera y a gran altura en la atm\u00f3sfera media, utilizando modelos n\u00famericos y datos europeo de predicci\u00f3n meteorol\u00f3gica a plazo medio (ecmwf).  &#8211; la descripci\u00f3n del enso en el tr\u00f3pico se ha hecho con el m\u00e9todo de funciones ortogonales emp\u00edricas (eof) aplicado separadamente al promedio zonal y a la componente asim\u00e9trica(los \u00abeddies\u00bb,u ondas)del campo de temperatura msu.De este modo se demuestra que la se\u00f1al enso contiene componentes promedio zonal y termodin\u00e1micos.As\u00ed pues, la componente zonal corresponde al calentamiento de la atm\u00f3sfera tropical por el aumento de precipitaciones y nubosidad durante la las ondas rossby ecuatoriales forzdas por anomal\u00edas de calentamiento convectivo en el extremo oriental del pac\u00edfico.Tambi\u00e9n se concluye del an\u00e1lisis eof que la se\u00f1al enso es linealmente independiente de otros procesos como la oscilaci\u00f3n cuasi-bienial (qbo)y las erupciones volc\u00e1nicas, cosa que no se hab\u00eda demostrado con tal claridad previemente.  &#8211; para estudiar la se\u00f1al enso fuera del tr\u00f3pico , se han utlizado dos modelos de circulaci\u00f3n general (gcm), que se compaan con la versi\u00f3n m\u00e1s reciente del rean\u00e1lisis de datos atm\u00f3sfericos era-40, del ecmwf.El estudio se hace a base de composites, que se contruyen tomando la diferencia de los conjuntos de sucesos el ni\u00f1o- la ni\u00f1a m\u00e1s intensos ocurridos en el periodo 1979-2000.De esta manera se demuestra que, tanto en los modelos como en los datos era-40 ,la se\u00f1al enso se propaga fuera del tr\u00f3pico por medio de ondas rossby.En la troposfera ,\u00e9stas forman los trenes de ondas conocidos como patrones<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
