Cabe destacar que para el derivado [ru( 6-p-cimeno)( 3-p,n,o-ph2pch2p{=np(=o)(oet)2}ph2)][sbf6]2 la unidad iminofosforano ph2p=n es hemilabil. La desprotonaci\u00f3n de la unidad metil\u00e9nica pch2p en los complejos [rucl( 6-p-cimeno)( 2-p,x-ph2pch2p{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2)][sbf6] y [ru( 6-p-cimeno)( 3-p,n,x-ph2pch2p{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2)][sbf6]2 (x = o, s; r = et, ph) genera los nuevos complejos ciclometalados [rucl( 6-p-cimeno)( 2-p,c-ph2pchp{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2)] y [ru( 6-p-cimeno)( 3-p,c,x-ph2pchp{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2)][sbf6] (x = o, s; r = et, ph). La ruptura del enlace p-c promovida por una base en estos complejos ciclometalados genera los correspondientes complejos fosfinito [ru( 6-p-cimeno){ 1-p-p(=o)ph2}( 2-c,x-ch2p{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2)] (x = o, s; r = et, ph). Los nuevos ligandos bis(iminofosforano)metano ch2[p{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2]2 (x = o, s; r = et, ph) pueden ser desprotonados con hidruros met\u00e1licos mh (m = na, k) conduciendo a las especies bis(iminofosforano)metanuro mch[p{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2)]2 (m = na, x = o, r = et, ph; m = k, x = s, r = et, ph), a partir de las cuales hemos podido sintetizar los complejos neutros [rucl(?6-p-cimeno)( 2-c,n-ch[p{=np(=o)(or)2}ph2]2)] (r = et, ph) y cati\u00f3nicos [ru(?6-p-cimeno)( 3-c,n,x-ch[p{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2]2)]+ (x = o, s; r = et, ph), as\u00ed como las nuevas especies carbenicas de rutenio(ii) [ru(?6-p-cimeno)( 2-c,n-c[p{=np(=x)(or)2}ph2]2)] (x = o, s; r = et, ph).
