La mayor\u00eda del conocimiento actual sobre los receptores cannabinoides se ha obtenido a partir de estudios realizados principalmente en mam\u00edferos aunque quedan a\u00fan muchos detalles por investigar sobre las caracter\u00edsticas del sistema cannabinoide a partir de otras especies de organismos.  en esta tesis, demostramos que existen sitios de uni\u00f3n para ligandos cannabinoides, est\u00e9reo espec\u00edficos y saturables, en el cerebro del pez cebra (danio rerio). adem\u00e1s, hemos aislado y caracterizado molecularmente dos nuevos receptores cannabinoides putativos en el pez cebra, que presentan elevada homolog\u00eda con los receptors cannabinoides cb1 y cb2, respectivamente. Cb1 de pez cebra se expresa principalmente en el cerebro, en todas las subdivisiones principales y cb2 de pez cebra se expresa en la periferia, aunque tambi\u00e9n en el cerebro y en la hip\u00f3fisis (rt-pcr e his). Nuestros resultados a partir de estudios de uni\u00f3n con los ligandos [3h]-cp55940 y [3h]-win55212-2 nos han permitido identificar un sitio espec\u00edfico de uni\u00f3n para ambos ligandos a partir de membranas procedentes de cerebro de pez cebra y tambi\u00e9n de c\u00e9lulas hek-293 transfectadas de manera estable con el receptor cb1 de pez cebra. En los estudios de competici\u00f3n encontramos que solamente el win55212-2 es capaz de desplazar significativamente al propio [3h]-win55212-2 siguiendo el modelo que se ajusta a la existencia de dos sitios de uni\u00f3n. por otra parte, el win55212-2, adem\u00e1s de la anandamida, fue capaz de activar el receptor, mediante la inhibici\u00f3n de la concentraci\u00f3n intracelular de camp. Adem\u00e1s, demostramos, por primera vez, que un receptor cannabinoide no mam\u00edfero puede tambi\u00e9n sufrir inter<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
