Se ha establecido su vinculacion con la arquitectura como distribuidora y compartimentadora de espacios arquitectonicos, a la vez que se convierte en un elemento estetico.  el trabajo se ha dividido en cuatro grandes capitulos.  el primero estudia el oficio de rejero y sus trabajos en el taller. En el segundo, se realiza un analisis estilistico de las rejas por tercios de siglo, en el que se diferencian los elementos estructurales de los ornamentales. El tercero presenta un indice de artistas donde se aportan datos biograficos y profesionales. Por ultimo, en el cuarto capitulo se ha elaborado un catalogo de obras por orden cronologico, donde individualmente se recoge cada una de las piezas, efectuando un analisis de las mismas, junto a una
