consisti\u00f3 en el dise\u00f1o y s\u00edntesis de pol\u00edgonos moleculares v\u00eda autoensamblaje a partir de sus unidades constitutivas, que han sido unidades lineales (aristas fluoradas) del tipo organomet\u00e1lico o org\u00e1nico, y unidades angulares que han sido complejos plano cuadrados de pt y pd (esquinas) a base de ligandos difosnia y del ligando etilendiamina.  las reacciones de autoensamblaje han dado lugar a equilibrios entre tri\u00e1ndulos y cuadrados moleculares y se ha estudiado la composici\u00f3n de los mismos en funci\u00f3n de diferentes factores como la concentraci\u00f3n, el disolvente utilizado o el \u00e1ngulo bite del ligando fosfina de la esquinas.  el estudio de los pol\u00edgonos moleculares s\u00edntetizados, se ha complementado en algunos casos con la realizaci\u00f3n de c\u00e1lculos te\u00f3ricos, un estudio cuantitativo de reconocimiento molecular o el an\u00e1lisis de la interacci\u00f3n con el dna.  tambi\u00e9n se han sintetizado
