Uno de estos cambios se refleja en la producci\u00f3n de \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico (on) por macr\u00f3fagos del hospedador, como respuesta a ciertos est\u00edmulos parasitarios. El objetivo general de este proyecto doctoral fue evaluar el efecto sobre la producci\u00f3n de on por macr\u00f3fagos alveolares que ejercen diversos ant\u00edgenos (crudos o mol\u00e9culas purificadas), obtenidos de seis g\u00e9neros de helmintos (echinococcus, paragonimus, schistosoma, trichinella, dirofilaria y ascaris) implicados en la lesi\u00f3n de diferentes estructuras del aparato respiratorio  conclusiones obtenidas:  tanto los ant\u00edgenos procedentes de pared qu\u00edstica (pq) de e. Multilocularis y e. Granulosus como los ant\u00edgenos derivados de la capa laminar (cl) de e. Multilocularis inhiben la producci\u00f3n estimulada de on por los macr\u00f3fagos alveolares de rata.  la prote\u00edna recombinante 14-3-3 de e. Multilocularis es uno de los componentes responsables del efecto supresor observado por los ant\u00edgenos procedentes de la cl y pq del par\u00e1sito.  .Los ant\u00edgenos excretores\/secretores (e\/s) procedentes de los trematodos p. Mexicanus y s. Bovis modulan de forma diferente la producci\u00f3n de on, siendo \u00fanicamente los derivados de p. Mexicanus los que estimulan la producci\u00f3n de on.  -existen diferencias entre las especies qu\u00edsticas y no qu\u00edsticas de trichinella en su capacidad para estimular la producci\u00f3n de on.  -una mol\u00e9cula de 35,3 kda, aislada del ant\u00edgeno som\u00e1tico de adultos de d. Immitis y perteneciente a la superfamilia de inmunoglobulinas, estimula la liberaci\u00f3n de on.  -los ant\u00edgenos e\/s obtenidos tanto de estadios larvarios como de fases adultas de a. Suum son capaces de estimular la producci\u00f3n de on. espec\u00edficamente, una fracci\u00f3n de pm comprendida entre 37-46 kda, del ant\u00edgeno e\/s de adulto de a.
