Este resultado, junto a otras diferencias tanto fenotipicas como quimiotaxonomicas y moleculares, nos ha permitido proponer su inclusion en un genero nuevo, salinivibrio gen. Nov., Con una unica especie, salinivibrio costicola comb. Nov. Por otro lado, tambien determinamos la secuenciacion del gen que codifica el arnr 16s de chromohalobacter marismortui, volcaniella eurihalina y deleya salina, el analisis de estas secuencias indico que dichas especies se agrupan dentro de la familia halomonadaceae. Dicho estudio nos ha permitido determinar la estrecha relacion filogenetica de v. Eurihalina con h. Elongata; se propone transferir v.  eurihalina al geneo halomonas, como halomonas eurihalina comb. Nov. Mediante la utilizacion de las tecnicas de electroforesis de chef y tafe, se ha estimado un tama\u00f1o aproximado de 2.500 kb para el genoma de v. Costicola e-367. Asimismo se han detectado y caracterizado dos plasmidos cripticos en v. Costicola e-367 y c.  marismortui atoc 17056, denominados pvc1 y pcm1, con tama\u00f1os de 2,95 y 17,5 kb, respectivamente. Se ha localizado el replicon basico del plasmido pcml, el cual esta contenido en un fragmento de 1.600 pb, que incluye dos regiones, la region oriv y el gen repa. El aislamiento y caracterizacion del replicon basico del plasmido pcml, especifico de c. Marismortui, ha permitido la construccion de una serie de vectores de clonacion utiles para la manipulacion genetica de bacterias halofilas moderadas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos
