Comparaci\u00f3n con el m\u00e9todo de referencia usualmente utilizado para medir paleotemperaturas a partir de estas alquenonas por cromatograf\u00eda de gases con detectar de ionizaci\u00f3n de llama.  y an\u00e1lisis de compuestos ester\u00f3licos como marcadores espec\u00edficos de contaminaci\u00f3n de origen urbano en muestras provenientes de una planta depuradora de aguas residuales.  y para avanzar en el conocimiento b\u00e1sico d los mecanismos de transformaci\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas org\u00e1nicas en diferentes ambientes depsocionales antiguos, se han trazado estos tres objetivos:  caracterizaci\u00f3n  mediante biomarcadores geoqu\u00edmicos de rocas originarias de la cuenca vasco-cant\u00e1brica para establecer el origen del petr\u00f3leo encontrado en dicha zona.  estudio de sedimentos del per\u00edodo albiense (cret\u00e1ceo medio) de la cuenca vasco-cant\u00e1brica para conocer el origen de las distribuciones de alcanos lineales con predominio de los hom\u00f3logos de longitud de cadena par.  y caracterizaci\u00f3n de resinas fosiles o \u00e1mbares del per\u00edodo cret\u00e1ceo provenientes de yacimientos de \u00e1lava y
