Se analiza la figura del m\u00fasico en todas sus representaci\u00f3nes, desde el art\u00edfice de la poes\u00eda medieval alemana por excelencia, el minnes\u00ed\u00a4nger, hasta el m\u00fasico que entendemos propiamente rom\u00e1ntico, el compositor \u00abgenial\u00bb. asimismo, en un cap\u00edtulo introductorio se hace un repaso de la presencia de la figura del m\u00fasico y la forma en que se representa en toda la literatura en lengua alemana. Los dos aspectos clave en torno a los que giran los an\u00e1lisis son, por un lado, la particular e idealizada recepci\u00f3n de la edad media en el romanticismo alem\u00e1n, y por otro lado, la est\u00e9tica musical rom\u00e1ntica, cuyo origen no debe buscarse en la musicolog\u00eda sino en su calidad de lenguaje del alma, desde una perspectiva existencial. Un tercer aspecto que cobra importancia en este contexto es la religi\u00f3n, puesto que tanto la recepi\u00f3n de la edad media en ludwig tieck, como la est\u00e9tica musical en este periodo, no se pueden desligar de un proceso de secularizaci\u00f3n que provoca que el autor dirija su mirada al pasado y a su interior, en una infinita nostalgia por encontrar una uni\u00f3n m\u00edstica con dios y
