Tambi\u00e9n se sabe que la fluoraci\u00f3n de mol\u00e9culas bioactivas adem\u00e1s de aumentar frecuentemente su potencia biol\u00f3gica, mejora la permeabilidad lip\u00eddica y estabilidad metab\u00f3lica.     el trifluoruro de dietilaminoazufre (dast) se ha usado ampliamente para la fluoraci\u00f3n decarbohidratos. Nuestro grupo de investigaci\u00f3n ha descrito distintos tipos de transposiciones promovidas por dast. Estas reacciones que ocurren con o sin contracci\u00f3n de anillo constituyen un m\u00e9todo simple para la preparaci\u00f3n de fluoruros de glicosilo c-3 ramificados y 2,5-anhidro-1-fluoro-1-o-metilhexitoles, equivalentes sint\u00e9ticos de aldeh\u00eddo-az\u00facares (\u00abformil c-glicofuran\u00f3sidos\u00bb).     a partir de las consideraciones anteriores, nos propusimos como objetivo la preparaci\u00f3n regio- y estereoselectiva de nuevos carbohidratos modificados, conactividad enzim\u00e1tica potencial y utilizables a su vez como precursores de peptidomim\u00e9ticos. Como estrategia para ello nos planteamos la extensi\u00f3n de la metodolog\u00eda que, basada en reacciones de transposici\u00f3n promovidas por dast, se cita m\u00e1s arriba aplic\u00e1ndola a:      a,- metil 1,2-trans-diecuatorial- y 1,2-cis-glicopiran\u00f3sidos para obtener formil c-glicofuran\u00f3sidos, incluyendo precursores de c-glicoamino\u00e1cidos (c-gaas) con esqueleto de tetrahidrofurano.     b,- 3-c-ciano-3-etoxicarbonilhexopiran\u00f3sidos como una ruta a beta-amino\u00e1cidos fluorados 3-c-ramificados con libertad conformacional restringida, derivados de d-glucosa.     el estudio sistem\u00e1tico de fluoraci\u00f3n realizado sobre diversos metil 2-hidroxi-hexopiran\u00f3sidos no ramificados de configuraciones d-gluco, d-altro, d-alo y d-xilo con dast, nos ha permitido establecer nuevos criterios sobre el curso de la reacci\u00f3n de fluoraci\u00f3n.
