El objetivo es integrar dichas capas en dispositivos magnetoelectr\u00f3nicos tales como uniones t\u00fanel o filtros de spin.  hemos descubierto que el crecimiento epitaxial permite estabilizar fases nuevas del \u00f3xido nife2o4 que tienen propiedades remarcablemente distintas. como por ejemplo un aumento dram\u00e1tico de la magnetizaci\u00f3n o la posibilidad de modificar dr\u00e1sticamente sus propiedades de transporte, pudi\u00e9ndose obtener capas aislantes o conductivas. Argumentamos que el aumento de la magnetizaci\u00f3n es debido a la estabilizaci\u00f3n de una fase nife2o4 espinela que es parcialmente inversa, en la que los iones ni2+ est\u00e1n distribuidos entre las dos posiciones disponibles (tetra\u00e9drica y octa\u00e9drica) de la estructura. La introducci\u00f3n adicional de vacantes de ox\u00edgeno es probablemente la causa  de la existencia de una configuraci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica mixta fe2+\/3+ en la subred octa\u00e9drica.  las capas conductivas de nife2o4 se han empleado como electrodos ferrimagn\u00e9ticos met\u00e1licos en uniones t\u00fanel. Se ha podido medir una magnetoresistencia t\u00fanel importante hasta temperaturas tan altas como 280k. Los valores de mangetoresistencia corresponden a una polarizaci\u00f3n de spin del nife2o4 de aproximadamente un 40%, que es pr\u00e1cticamente independiente de la temperatura. Estos resultados sugieren que la nueva fase conductiva que hemos estabilizado es un candidato interesante como fuente se spin polarizada.  por otra parte, el nife2o4 asilante se han implementado, por primer vez, como barrera t\u00fanel en una heteroestructura de filtro de spin. Hemos observado una magnetorresistencia t\u00fanel que alcanza valores de hasta un 50%. A partir de estas medidas hemos deducido detalles relevantes de la estructura electr\u00f3nica de la fase parcialmente inversa de nif<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
